Hub has been with TIP Capital since 2009 and is Vice President and Managing Director responsible for our Canadian operations. Hub has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations in the Canadian leasing industry and has been a long-time member of the Canadian Finance and Leasing Association.
Prior to joining TIP Capital, Hub was Vice President of GE Technology Finance where he ran GE Capital’s Technology Finance Group. Prior to GE, he was Vice President & Managing Director of GATX Capital for 18 years where he was responsible for all aspects of their Canadian Operation and wrote close to $1 billion of new business. This business included Tax Benefit Transfers, Cross Border Leasing, Leveraged, Capital and Operating Leases in their structured finance group for a host of equipment — including ships, aircraft, manufacturing & production, golf course and equipment technology and software. He was also responsible for setting up new companies for GATX in the Venture, Technology and Residual Management areas. Hub also sat on the Board of Directors for all of GATX’s Canadian companies.
