James M. Recker, Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Jim joined TIP Capital in 2000 and serves as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Jim is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal, human resources and lease documentation processes. Jim has over twenty years experience in legal matters unique to the equipment leasing industry.
Prior to joining the company, Jim was Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel for AT&T Capital Systems Leasing, responsible for legal matters as well as additional business responsibilities for the division’s M&A activity. Prior to joining AT&T Capital, Jim focused on portfolio acquisition and other M&A activities primarily within the equipment leasing industry, while with the law firm of Sidley & Austin. Jim received a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Law Degree from the University of Michigan.
